Who is The Magic Squirrel?
Allow me to tell you a story. Actually, now that I think of it, if you have the time I’d like to tell you a number of stories. I’m not sure exactly how many, when they start or where they end, but I want to get started telling you about The Magic Squirrel. My grandfather introduced him to me as a child, telling me the same series of fantastic adventures over and over again. Each time he recaptured my imagination and fascination with a powerful squirrel and the lands he visited with companions.
And so, I find great interest in retelling the stories of The Magic Squirrel and discovering new adventures he undertakes. Just as the world changed from my grandfather’s childhood to my own, so have these stories grown and progressed. My grandfather hoped the stories would entertain, pass the time and engage the imagination. The incredible events and characters he created inspired a means for my own goals of political and religious satire, critique and reflection
When I feel the need to expand on a tangent I hope you will enjoy it as much as the main story. You can never be too sure where the heart of the story lies, and I encourage looking between different events to find their greatest power. Interesting ideas and concepts compound their own significance when you can draw potent connections between them. Complex problems and circumstances encompass society and require assessment that acknowledges equally intricate assessment.
Enter into the world of The Magic Squirrel and search for a while. Meet Mister Mayor and feast with Mary and Johnny. As a child, I enjoyed never knowing where a story might lead next, what The Magic Squirrel would conjure for the day or attempt at any moment. The possibilities are endless and the magic, intense. Believing in such things, discovering their impact and their immense potential is of utmost importance to the magical world, and our own.
